Vegetable seeds were sold out here in March and April. No seeds in those two months when they were most needed.
It looks like many people decided to start growing food this spring and the sellers just couldn’t keep up with the demand.
It’s first now, at the end of May when it’s already too late to start sowing many things in this part of the world that we finally can buy some seeds.
Yesterday, for the first time in more than 3 months I visited a non essential place – a garden center.
It was full of people and many of them did not bother to keep distance, bumping into you, coughing in the back of your neck etc.
This makes me a bit nervous as I am in the vulnerable group but it was also a pleasure to visit such place, full of plants.
This is one of the big greenhouses there.
